I’m Kayana, a student at New York University working on my Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Media, Culture and Communication.

My passion for health, fitness and writing got me started with this blog. It’s important for me to be aware of what we’re consuming, balancing the right foods, and treating our bodies with respect.

If you stick with me, you’ll read about what I think about before eating, how I relieve the stress of being a college student, and how I maintain my body.

I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes and I’ve developed some of my own. I encourage you to try them! If I can do it, you can do it!

Aside from schoolwork, blogging, working-out and cooking, I’m a singer/songwriter and I play the oboe for NYU’s Concert Band.
